The proposal and discussion of forming a National Consensus Commission have gained importance with the goal of resolving existing political polarization in Bangladesh and creating a sustainable agreement on issues of national importance. The primary task of this commission is to create a collective roadmap for constitutional stability and long-term reform through dialogue among the country's various political parties, social organizations, and stakeholders. In particular, the main challenge for this commission is to achieve acceptance from all parties to ensure the neutrality of the electoral system, fundamental amendments to the constitution, and state institutions. The core objective of this initiative is to build an inclusive and united state structure by placing national interests above partisan interests.
